Nic Fife studied Life Drawing at the Slade School of Fine Art and trained in portraiture with respected British artist Andrew Festing. In 1998, she was awarded a BA Hons in Fine Art from Cleveland College of Art and Design, winning the David Murray prize for painting in her final year, an award given annually by the Royal Academy Schools.
Nic went on to study life drawing at Heatherleys School of Fine Art and later at The Royal Drawing School in London. In 2024 she graduated from the One Year Professional Landscape Programme at Newlyn School of Art in Cornwall. She is currently participating in the School’s flagship Agora Mentoring programme, which will culminate in a group exhibition at Tremenheere Gallery, Penzance, in Autumn 2026. She now lives and works at her studio on the Pembrokeshire coast.
